TRICKY STEWART is a Grammy Award winning songwriter, producer and composer. He is head of his own record label and studio, Red Zone Entertainment (RZE), based in Atlanta, Georgia. In a career spanning over 30 years, he has been the guiding force behind selling over 50 million records and instrumental to some of the most musical moments of this generation. Music has always been an important part of Stewart’s life.

Born in Markham, Illinois into a musical family, he remembers his Mother directing The Annette's Choir, which had a great impact on him. His earliest memory of loving music was picking up pots, pans and hangers to play like the drums. Stewart said, “It was all about the love of sound,” and that fascination of sound is how his musical inspiration and passion began.

Stewart has written and produced many chart topping R & B and pop singles and albums such as: Britney Spears’ "Me Against the Music", Mary J. Blige's "Just Fine", Rihanna’s Grammy Award winning "Umbrella", Beyoncé’s Grammy Award winning “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)", The-Dream's "Love/Hate" and "Love vs. Money", Mariah Carey's "Touch My Body" and "Obsessed", Justin Bieber’s "Baby", Ciara's "Ride", Frank Ocean’s “Novacane”, Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream”, Beyoncé’s “4”, The-Dream's "Love/Hate", "Love vs. Money" and Frank Ocean’s “Nostalgia,Ultra”. He has discovered and/or developed game changing talents like: Ester Dean, Frank Ocean, Justin Tranter, Ricky Reed and writing partner The - Dream.

In 2011 Stewart become President of A&R at Epic Records. Recording legend, L.A. Reid tapped him because of Stewarts gift for finding and developing new talent. Reid wanted him to create a roster of artists from the ground up. Also in 2012, Billboard named Stewart to the “40 under 40 list of Music Executives”, entitled those who are propelling our industry with their artistic and business vision.” L.A. Reid told Billboard, “Tricky Stewart is one of the most talented people in our industry.”

An entrepreneur by nature, in 2013 Stewart shocked the music industry by resigning from Epic Records. “I really want to get back into the studio, I miss making records too much. At the end of the day, that’s my #1 passion,” he told Billboard.com.

Stewart has stayed true to his music passion aspirations and is always looking ahead. Currently, he can be found dividing his time between his studio, cultivating the next tidal wave of artists and deciding the final details for his new independent record and content company.

Stewart was recently asked, "What is the most important fact that you want someone to know about you? Your top hits, the Grammy's or the chart stats?" Without missing a beat, Stewart quickly stated, "Someone who worked hard, chased greatness and who ultimately really cared a lot about music."
